CHAPTER    HISTORY

Originally designated as Troop "F", North Carolina Buffalo Soldiers Fayetteville, the members embarked on a journey to ensure the legacy of the original Buffalo Soldiers would not fall to neglect. The members of Troop "F" worked diligently to support the ideals of the Fayetteville chapter and the National Association. With each new project or fundraiser, the members concern turned to the Charlotte community. Encouragement from the President of the Fayetteville chapter to continue to build rapport in the local community led to the inevitable.

On 14 June 2008, the time was right; several members of Troop "F" petitioned the chapters in Fayetteville and Greensboro to start a chapter in the Charlotte area. A decision mutually agreed upon by both chapters after much consideration and reflection resulted in the formation the Buffalo Troopers Charlotte chapter.

On August 1, 2008, the National Association of Buffalo Soldier and Troopers Motorcycle Club welcomed the Buffalo Troopers Charlotte into the National Association as a full and autonomous chapter. We immediately began to address the needs of our chapter and the needs of the communities in which we live. We are ecstatic to be able to continue the spirit of giving back in the name of the Legendary Buffalo Soldiers using the great American pastime of motorcycling as a tool.
